Caravan towing course

Our caravan towing course was on 13th December at METEC (http://www.metec.com.au/safe-driving-training/caravan-and-trailer-towing-course/)
We found it really valuable, especially for reverse parking.
The photo below is of Louise reversing in circles.
I love that the tyre marks on the ground make it look like she's been doing donuts with a caravan attached!

First night in the van

We had our 'shakedown' trip in the caravan on 11th December and it was a chaotic rush to get there, we were setting up the van in the dark.
We decided to stay at Wantirna caravan park. No, it's not the most picturesque park in Victoria, but it was close to Kilsyth where we were booked in for our caravan towing course on Sunday.
We didn't have time to prepare anything for dinner. Thank goodness for my colleague Rachel who made me take home some leftover party pies and sausage rolls from my farewell party at work. Dinner of champions!

The many uses of duct tape

We did our outback first aid course on 26th November 2015.
One of the handouts was this ultimate guide to the uses of duct tape.
Our favourite is definitely number 36.

Picking up the car from Ford

Wow, it really is big. And this is before any modifications have been made to it.
The team at Ford Brighton were great, it was the first time I've bought a car and not been made to feel like the dealer is trying to rip me off.
We didn't take it home tonight as the guy who is doing the mods is going to pick it up on Monday and start work straight away.
